Who is Mrs Groom?
I am first and foremost, the teacher of the fantastic students in 1G. I am an Assistant Principal at Marayong South and am involved in all aspects of the school and school community. I am currently studying for my Masters in Education and am learning a lot of new things that has changed or reinforced my ideas about teaching and learning.
I have been teaching for 17 years (I know I don’t look old enough – ha ha). I have taught in a few Sydney schools and also in the UK. I am also married to Dean and have 3 very active children of my own. I have Harry who is almost 7, Sarah 4 and Ashton 2. Along with 2 dogs, a cat and 3 newly acquired fish, I am a busy lady!

I too have an Edublog blog that I plan to utilize with my classrooms next year to keep students and their parents posted on what we are doing. Thank you for giving me a model to pattern my classroom blog after…I owe both you and your husband a great deal…I really like your kids names…Dean might be making a name for himself in Great Falls, Montana…hehe
